Jog-a-thon has launched!

JOG-A-THON BY THE NUMBERS:

Funds raised to date: $22,099 (44% to our goal of $50,000)

- Sponsor donated funds: $14,900

- Student donated funds: $7,199

# Students Registered: 47 (10% of students)

Days Remaining: 40

This past Friday, we held assemblies with students to kick off the Jog-a-thon. You should have received an email last week from Dr. Martinez with further instructions.

Here's a quick guide to get you started—students also brought a copy of this home, please check their backpacks. Additionally, here is the full INFORMATIONAL PACKET that will walk you through step-by-step to get your student registered. You can also access the SPANISH VERSION HERE.

Every student must register on our platform to participate. If you have any questions or need help with setup, please email [email protected]. We can help!

We will also have paper donation forms available if you prefer to ask for donations in person. You can print off copies (see the last page of the Informational Packet) or pick some up in the school office.

Please help us reach our goal of $50,000. No matter how much or how little your family, friends, neighbors etc. can contribute on behalf of your student, it all helps!

 ABOUT

GOLDEN HILL UTK-8 DUAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION SCHOOL

Golden Hill UTK-8's emphasis on social/emotional learning (SEL) and LOVE for all children helps students develop lifelong skills such as empathy, gratitude, compassion, positive communication, problem solving and resilience.

Our Dual Language Immersion Program focuses on the 3 pillars of Dual Language Education: bilingualism and biliteracy, grade-level academic achievement, and cross-cultural competency.

Our focus on Project-Based Learning (PBL) at the middle school level, keeps students engaged in relevant and meaningful work that is preparing them for present success, as well as future successes in college and career.

This is a beautiful school community where students, teachers, staff and families collaborate to meet the needs of ALL children, and decisions remain focused on what is BEST FOR KIDS.
